Peroni soaks up the success after Italian-style street event!

April 6, 2009

Over the weekend of 21 March, Strada Peroni hosted a street side dining spectacular! Guests filled 4th Street in Parkhurst to eat and drink, and have a small taste of the Italian lifestyle.

Guests were treated to saxophonists, acoustic guitarists and a fashion show, which was organised by socialite and celebrity Gerry Rantseli. Mark Pilgrim was the MC for another fashion event that showcased the Miss FTV finalists. Mark Pilgrim himself said that those that did not attend the day would be envious!

Restaurants buzzed with activity the whole day, and other faces at Strada Peroni included Kurt Darren, Lesego Motsepe and Hlubi Mboya from Isidingo, who giggled, “What a brilliant idea, what a brilliant day. Everything was extraordinary, the food, the company and of course my Peroni.  I am already looking forward to next year’s!”.

Full Stop Cafe’s owner Craig went on to say that the idea was excellent, and made for a lovely Saturday in Parkhurst! He was pleased to be associated with the event, which was a true reflection of Italian style.

Many have been left thirsty for the next Strada Peroni Experience!

Below are some images from the event, just to make you even more eager to join Strada Peroni next time!
