Bafana Bafana won against New Zealand in the Confederations Cup on Wednesday, and to celebrate, the Baxter Theatre has FREE tickets available for two performances of the critically acclaimed Bafana Republic 3: Penalty Shootout.

Bafana Republic 3: Penalty Shootout is the third instalment in Mike van Graan’s award-winning satirical series that takes its inspiration from the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the struggles of our national soccer team.

The previous editions won the Best One Person Show prize at the South African Comedy Awards, and earned the young stars Best Newcomer nominations.

Many who have seen all the instalments, though, believe that the third, directed by Mandla Mbothwe and starring Lungi Pinda, is the best one yet!

There is one pair of free tickets for every pair of tickets purchased for the Friday, 19 June show, and, to celebrate Father’s Day, all fathers get in free for the show on Saturday, 20 June, provided that at least one ticket is purchased. Tickets cost R75 each.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday, and the related free tickets, are only available from the Baxter Theatre’s Box Office, which can be contacted at 021 684 7880.
